Tata Electronics partners with Kelington to speed up the Dholera fab’s readiness
Malaysian engineering firm Kelington will help deliver the critical infrastructure and systems for Tata Electronics’ US$11 billion, 300 mm semiconductor fab in Dholera, accelerating its path to silicon wafer production.

Tata Electronics and Kelington, a Malaysian integrated engineering solutions provider, have announced a collaboration to advance the development of Tata Electronics' semiconductor fab in Dholera, Gujarat.
Kelington will support the delivery of the critical infrastructure and systems needed for semiconductor manufacturing. The partnership is intended to help Tata Electronics speed up the facility's operational readiness for silicon wafer production, and both companies describe it as a key enabler for the timely execution of the Dholera fab project.
The two companies will also explore developing local talent and advanced design-and-build engineering capabilities in India.

The Dholera fab
The Dholera facility is the cornerstone of Tata Electronics' semiconductor manufacturing plans. Backed by a planned investment of US$11 billion, the 12-inch (300 mm) fab will produce semiconductor products for automotive, mobile devices, artificial intelligence and other applications, for both domestic and global customers.
