Construction began on the Ahmedabad–Dholera Expressway, the 109 km access-controlled highway (NH-751) built by the National Highways Authority of India.
Four lanes to start, engineered to expand to eight, it is the road spine of the corridor — the link between Ahmedabad and Dholera's airport, industrial zones and the wider Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor.
Ground-breaking on a project like this is the moment a plan starts becoming a place. The expressway opened to traffic in 2026.
